One goals of the Greenville Zoo AAZK chapter is to help raise funds for conservation projects around the globe and to help support the animals in our own zoo. We are constantly trying to come up with new fund-raisers to help achieve this goal. Bowling for Rhinos is one of our biggest fund-raising events but we do offer smaller ways to help throughout the year. Below are a few of the ways you can help support our AAZK chapter.
Merchandise
We have a variety of one-of-a-kind merchandise for sale including orangutan painting magnets, lion and leopard paw prints, AAZK tye-dye t-shirts, kids coloring/activity books, bamboo pencil holders, and even wind chimes made with spoons bent by the orangutans! We often have tables with these items for sale set up on occasional weekends or at zoo events. Please visit our facebook page to stay up to date on plans for these opportunities. You can also currently buy the coloring books at the gift shop (cash only- $5 each).

"Wishing Waterfall"
"Make a wish if you please, and toss a coin to help animals in need." All proceeds from our wishing waterfall go directly to aid conservation efforts around the world. Each year, the money collected from the wishing waterfall will go to a different conservation project. These conservation projects are voted on by the Greenville Zoo AAZK members. If you would like to make a donation then please visit our wishing waterfall by the South American exhibits at the zoo. Our 2016 project is International Elephant Foundation's Mounted Horse Patrol Anti-Poaching Unit for Mt. Kenya.
